Privacy, clearly.

ZoomSpot processes your chosen tab on your device to show a larger view of a selected area.

What ZoomSpot handles

When you invoke ZoomSpot and request a view, Chrome provides a live visual stream of the current tab. This stream contains the visible tab before cropping, including content outside the final selected rectangle. ZoomSpot processes these frames locally and displays the cropped area in its own window or Picture-in-Picture. Visible page content may include personal information if that information appears on the page. ZoomSpot does not separately extract text, credentials, cookies, form fields or account information.

The extension reads the active tab URL to identify its website origin (scheme, hostname and port). It uses that origin to show saved areas for the current website. It does not read your browser history database, enumerate other visited pages, or run on every website automatically.

ZoomSpot handles pointer coordinates during area selection and the adjustments you make in its viewing window. These inputs operate the view; they are not used for behavior tracking or analytics.

Storage and retention

Sharing, advertising and analytics

ZoomSpot has no application server, account system, advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs. It does not send captured content, saved areas or usage data to the developer or third parties. It does not sell user data. All executable code is included in the extension package.

ZoomSpot uses data only to provide its single purpose: a user-requested magnified live view and related saved-area settings. Its use of data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. It does not use data for advertising, profiling, credit decisions or unrelated purposes. The developer has no remote access to your captured view.

Your controls

Start a view only on a page you want to display. Press Escape to cancel an unfinished selection. Close a tab's viewing windows to stop its capture. To remove a saved area, open ZoomSpot on its website and press the × button next to its name. Uninstalling ZoomSpot removes its extension storage from that browser profile. Saved areas store positions, so scrolling or changing a page can change the content shown.

Support and third-party services

For privacy or support questions, email jetelabs@gmail.com.

If you email support, the information you voluntarily include is handled through your email provider and the publisher's email account to respond to your request. The extension does not send support messages automatically. Chrome Web Store, the original websites you visit, and any service hosting this public policy have their own privacy practices; those services are separate from ZoomSpot's local processing.

Changes

This policy describes version 1.3.0. Material changes to data handling will be reflected in an updated policy and, where needed, in the extension interface.

Interface language

Your Greek / English language preference is stored in chrome.storage.local in this browser profile until you change it or uninstall the extension. It is not synced or uploaded.
